Marc Lefrançois, CFA

Marc Lefrançois, CFA, Chartered Real Estate Broker, Agency Executive Officer, is the team leader of Équipe Lefrançois at Royal LePage Tendance. A real estate broker since 2002, he draws on his academic background and previous career in finance to bring a highly analytical approach to real estate, grounded in data, market insight, pricing strategy, and negotiation.

A graduate of HEC Montréal with a degree in finance in 1989, Marc earned the CFA designation in 1993. Before transitioning to real estate, he spent more than 15 years working in financial markets, including as a financial analyst and bond trader for institutions such as Bank of Montreal, as well as for a private investment fund.

In 2002, he entered the real estate industry, continuing a family tradition started by his mother. Today, he leads Équipe Lefrançois, a full-service team bringing together brokerage, marketing, listing coordination, and administrative support.

Recognized for his insight into the Montreal real estate market, Marc is regularly called upon to comment on real estate news and explain the trends affecting buyers and sellers. His market analyses are also featured on YouTube, where his videos covering real estate trends, strategy, and issues affecting property owners continue to reach a growing audience.

Marc's involvement extends beyond real estate. In 2018, he received the A.E. LePage Award in recognition of his commitment to both his community and Royal LePage. He also served for several years as a coach and vice-president of CSMRO. Équipe Lefrançois also supports epilepsy research at the CHUM by donating a portion of its listing revenue.

Outside of real estate, Marc has a strong interest in food, wine, travel, hiking, and photography.
